How To Become A Member

Do these steps (preferably in order) and you too can be a member of Hive13!
STEP 1 - Get to know the group
The first and most important step to join Hive13 is simply to show up to a few meetings and join our mailing list so you can get a feel for what the group is about and so we can get to know you as well. Make sure you've read the Membership Details and the Hive13 Bylaws to understand the responsibilities that come with a membership.
STEP 2 - Membership Application
Once you've decided you would like to join Hive13, come to a meeting and fill out a Membership Application. Bring it to a meeting and hand it to an officer, or scan it and email it to email@example.com.
STEP 3 - Liability Waiver
Every member must sign a Liability Waiver saying you won't hold Hive13 liable if you injure yourself or damage your property while working within the space or with tools and equipment provided by the space. Bring it to a meeting and hand it to an officer, or scan it and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
STEP 4 - Membership Fees
There are two options for payment of the monthly membership fee, and two possible tiers of membership. More details can be found at Membership Fees. These fees go to cover Hive13 expenses such as rent and other bills. You can pay by PayPal, or by giving cash or a check to our Treasurer. We prefer PayPal because it makes our paperwork easier.
