COVID-19

• Let's Stay Safe
  • Safety is our highest priority. Be a safety buddy. If you see something risky, please say something in a kind and caring way.
• Get vaccinated as soon as you are eligible
• Wear a mask at all times in the 2701SG building, even if you have been vaccinated or are otherwise immune to COVID
• Sign in at the front inner entrance
• Maintain social distancing
• Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly
• Stay away from Hive13 if you feel ill or have a fever. It doesn't matter if it's COVID or something else. Please keep it at home.
• Please keep in mind - we're ALL responsible for the cleanliness of the space. Please sweep up, take out the trash, and sanitize areas you've been in before leaving and focus on high touch points (light switches, door knobs, etc)

Recent Improvements

• Alexa has been rocking the ceramics area. Sink is hooked back up - brainstorming being done for clay trap, etc in #ceramics slack channel
• Doors! Door Building Parties have been big success! It's not only looking great, but really helping with noise pollution. You guys rock

Discussion

• Kitchen buildout discussion has been going on in #hive13_buildout_kitchen channel
  • Still throwing around ideas but working towards a layout that can work for now. Still some things to iron out

FYI

• Signature Column explanation - it may not have been explicitly put out there previously
• You may have noticed some signature art on the column in the front of the space.
  • This is the first of the paint a pillar project! (Check the wiki for more info!) Hive13 is a group of people that make amazing things and we have so many blank column canvases that can show that off!
  • This first column is our signature column to highlight our community! Feel free to simply sign it in sharpie, or paint a masterpiece of your name! Just be respectful of space so we can get as many names as possible. By being part of Hive13, you've already made your mark on the community, now make your mark on the space itself. Go forth and be creative!
