Project Overview

HHO, also know as oxyhydrogen or Brown's Gas, is a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases in the same proportion as water. We are going to be playing with some concepts for HHO generators. The intention is to gather measurements of gas output, power consumption, cost and time to create as well as a relative cost to operate various formats of HHO generators.

HHO has several uses including an oxy-fuel welding/cutting torch and automotive fuel supplement. We intend to closely examine these two uses.

The Plan

We will begin by replicating, as closely as possible, some HHO generators seen on YouTube. Then, based on the results of those various builds, we will choose a few designs to start performing our measurements.

Designs

Inverted-T cell

This is a design that I first came across while watching the ZeroFossilFuel channel on YouTube .

TODO List

  • Order Goop marine Adhesive
  • Order clear PVC parts needed for cell.
