To-Do List

Jewelry & Metalsmithing

• Re-machine vice so jaws are square
• Add shelving around sink for tumblers and ultrasonic cleaner
• Add receiver hitch mount to bench for big vice, install vice on hitch mount

Lampwork

• soft glass storage/organization - Currently have 55 soft glass colors, make holders for 80-100
• Replace wooden table support by kiln with a steel welded-in support

Ceramics

• Add vent hood over kiln
• Extend kiln downdraft vent fan cord to plug into vent hood plug
• pottery wheel: drip tray not secure, needs improvement
• Storage/Shelving
  • Get rid of black shelves and put pottery wheel by column
  • designate shelves work in progress and kiln ready
  • consolidate ceramics stuff to wood shelves and make room for tumblers on green shelves

General Use and Other Equipment

• Ventilation
  • Extend vent hood to over kiln and craft oven
  • Add make-up air vent/duct to bring fresh air from north wall
• Table
  • Replace pulled out screws, use 1/4-20 thread inserts to improve durability
  • Add labels to table - "No Eating - Glass and Ceramic Dust Area"
  • Add labels to stools - "Hot Crafts" (tops are 9" x 17.5")
• Craft oven
  • Remove dryer receptacle/ 30-amp circuit
  • Add 50 amp circuit for craft oven from Panel Z
• Drywall - finish corner with missing sheet
• Sink
  • Add retractable spray faucet
  • Rigidly mount sink back to wall and feet into floor
  • Add shelves over sink (one suitable for holding the ultrasonic if possible, get rid of those black shelves that always become a mess)
• Replace overhead outlet with GFCI

Hot Crafts is one of areas/wards in Hive13, added during the buildout of our space in 2701SG. It can be found on the Floorplan between columns D4, E4, D5, and E5.
