Agenda

Housekeeping

Old Business

  • CNC Classes Continue

  • CNC Dust Collection
    • We need to make emptying the filter part of CNC operation
    • Can we add a manometer to the collector so we can see if it’s working?

New Business

  • What to do with our new space?
    • Write down some suggestions today, have some discussions in the next few weeks, vote in a short term experiment (maybe 3 months), then at that later time reevaluate and re-vote for a semi-permanent use.
    • This worked well for the warden's program, a trial and then a more permanent vote with slight changes as things were done in practice.
    • Keep in mind: It would be pretty useful to leave the vote a bit flexible and open ended.

Votes

  • Vote to improve dust collection system - up to $1000 (target $500)
    • Vote next week, proposed on Thursday so not 7 days notice (being fair to everyone here.)
  • Proposal for Edge Technology Pro Tram System
    • Next week - Vote on 1/10/17
  • Vote to get a bench multimeter and probes - Up to $220
  • Vote to overturn previous affirmative vote to remove CNC storage
    • Non-specific, general vote

    • Hive IT? Could we move the servers in there.
    • Moving the fab lab into the new space?
    • Additional personal storage as a perk of cornerstone membership?
    • Can we add another door?
    • Could we move the electronics and IT stuff in there?
  • Please clean out the Gray and Green metal lockers by Saturday. They are leaving the hive.

      • This has been postponed until we can further define the vote.
