Housekeeping

  • Noise Curfew - Quiet hours are 10:30pm to 7am.
  • Shelf B is up for grabs. New stuff goes on Shelf C.
  • Liability waivers must be legible.
  • Label your personal supplies & tools.
  • Try to get your stuff in your Member Storage spots in a box of some sort. Request new storage spots on https://intweb.at.hive13.org
  • At the end of the meeting, please put your chair back on the cart.
  • Reminder, we are a community. Keep the space clean. If you need to have a mess, claim it on the mailing list. Use the mailing list if you are going to do a long job or will need some equipment for a specific time.

Old Business

  • Space re-organization
    • Greg and Ryan put together a master plan, including prerequisites
    • Electrical work is all done.
    • The second A/C in the annex is getting installed.
    • The windows have been caulked; during the next rain, we'll check for more leaks.
    • Old electronics equipment is set out on the green table and free to a good home.
    • Date for Fab Lab move is this Saturday, June 23rd. Please consider showing up to help.

    • Components
      • 2 EFR or RECI 100W CO2 laser tubes. ~$800-$1000
        • Shipping costs will be high due to the length of these tubes (1.5 meters).
        • It would be cheaper to purchase a spare tube in the same shipment to save money, as well as prevent future down-time.
      • Electrical repair parts. $200-$400 (worst case -- IF a new HV power supply was needed)
        • Mirrors, lenses, and other replacements $50
        • Industrial controls / safety & protection $100-$200
          • Coolant flow switch
          • Overcurrent relay for tube
          • Over-temperature switch
          • Coolant level sensor
          • Proper wiring & status indicators
