==Maintenance== 
It is important to maintain the oil level and change the oil.  Follow instructions in the manual (attached to this page) for doing so.  Do not overfill.  Ask me how I know!

Vacuum pumps require specific vacuum service oil, see the manual for recommended brand/type.

The manual recommends replacing the oil after every use. This is likely excessive, but if the vacuum former hasn't been used for some time, it's likely a good idea to drain and replace the oil.
