Over the weekend, I took the sucker apart to paint the lower chassis.  Unfortunately, I got distracted and forgot to take a pic after the glazing step (spot putty to fill in the cracks and stuff) - it looked kinda cool, like red and pink marble cake, sorta.

*Long and short range IR sensors have some strange conflict - may be due to low battery power.
 
*Best guess is that my test surface is too shiny (you can see your reflection in it) for proper line sensor operation, although they seem to be working, more or less.
Running out of time!  Still need to finish (read: 'get started on') the cover!  Oh, and something about a start button?
