Warden Meetings
Previous Meeting: August 10th, 2019 Meeting Procedure

Meeting Time: 10:00 AM

Next Meeting: February 11th, 2020

Agenda

  1. Why do we have a Warden Meeting? Face to face team meetings are important for consensus, rapport and social accountability. Wardens Meetings will move to a Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm over Pizza which Tuesday of the month TBD by surveymonkey poll monthly
  2. Discussion of opening warden slack channel.
  3. Review of Action Items
    1. Make sure you post your Warden Hours on the Hive13 Calendar. If you can't do it yourself, get help.
    2. Also post notice of your Warden Hours to the Mailing List
    3. It would be good if you were able to have at least a quarterly training class or tool certification during warden hours. Give members a reason to come in, beyond help with a project.
    4. - Potential Warden Hours Events. Teach a MIG or TIG welding class. Repair and refinish wood furniture. Make a picture frame. Lasercut a Spirograph like toy.  
  4. State of Each Ward (put problems in buzzkill) - We'll do this as a walk around next time
    1. CNC/Machining
    2. Electronics
    3. Fab Lab
    4. Kitchen
    5. Lounge
      1. computers Need a location to go. base machines are built. ready for final config and moving them to their permanent homes.
      2. carpet measure scheduled soon hopefully, will then require emptying the lounge for the install, and moving SOME things back in.
      3. plans on refocusing lounge to sewing, quiet workspace, classroom, and lounge. Aka, fewer tables, more storage and dedicated workspace.
    6. Metalworking
    7. Woodworking
    8. General Areas & Other Activities - Saturday Site Improvement Projects.
      1. Check Door system connectivity, go over current troubleshooting procedures

  1. Set dates and times for remaining meetings until June.
    1. Ralph will send out survey monkey for which Tuesday meeting to have the warden meeting before. 6-7pm

    1. create trello list of simple 1-day class projects to learn to use a tool - start hosting 1 a month as a goal.
