Woodworking Shop

Wood Storage

We have a section of vertical storage for temporarily (up to several months) storing of sheet goods and boards. Sheets up to 8 feet long and boards up to 12 feet long can be stored. Ask the area warden for permission before claiming a storage section. Any unlabeled section in the wood storage contains the Hive's supply of wood. Hive wood is categorized based on type (MDF, OSB, plywood, etc.).

Equipment

For each tool, please refer to its corresponding page for information on its usage. If you are not experienced with power tools please ask someone knowledgeable around the space before using. They are extremely dangerous to use even for simple tasks.
