Old Business

  • Housekeeping - the usual
    • The new clock has been mounted! Green = good to be loud, yellow = half hour til quiet hours, red = quiet hours
  • PTDR repair day - Saturday the 27th (this coming saturday)
  • Blender training - Saturday, Sept 17th
  • Gigabot - hit a snag with octoprint, not quite ready
  • Purgatory - new procedure. If items are taken off of purgatory and left lying around they will be immediately discarded.

New Business

  • Pizza pickup - we need someone who is willing to pick it up some times when Ryan can't.
  • Electronics improvement vote next week for ~$1500. More details on the mailing list.
  • Next Tuesday talk about 3d printing.
  • Louisville Makerfaire on Sept 10th
  • Ian made the wiki much more stable by removing the Flickr plugin (yay!)
  • Jon is working on making the laser exhaust and compressed air system better. Talk to him if you want to work on this.

  • Victoria - just graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, designs and builds furniture

  • Will - (voted) Birthday! Built a propane based thing that didn't blow up,
  • John - lots of KiCad circuit design
  • Alex - (voted) replaced a set of rotting steps at his house
  • Ian B - (voted) Fixed the wiki a bit, got his ass kicked by work, fixed the open/close switch
  • Brad (voted) - Made a bolt on the lathe, son started doing robotics
  • Karensa - Spent two weeks in the PNW, had good weather up there
