Hive13 Board Meeting November 14th, 2016

Agenda

  • Purgatory
  • Pending Applications
    • Anyone get back with the dude on leadership list?
  • Finance
    • Ian - progress :)
  • Membership Audit
    • Another date? Busy lives, odd work hours and broken cars are bad.
  • Hive Expansion
    • Review lease, and move forward.
    • Need to hold another vote of the membership to approve funds, should be easy; let's get this out tonight or tomorrow so it can be voted on next week.
  • "Class" on how to process new members!
  • Let's have a bit of an end plan when starting big projects, as this is a trend that we complain about with "regular" members, let's set a good example.
    • Let's not put things in the fire lane. (Especially with what happened in the Oakland space).
    • I realize there are two camps of thought down here, on one far end we have the plan plan plan and nothing happens, and on the other we have the "let's wing it and do it", both have flaws, so let's try to be productively in the middle
    • Getting better, but let's keep improving
