Housekeeping

  • Noise Curfew - Quiet hours are 10:30pm to 7am.
  • Liability waivers must be legible.
  • Label your personal supplies & tools.
  • Ask first before using materials which may belong to others - post to the mailing list!
  • If in doubt ask the mailing list.
  • Keep the space clean. If you need to have a mess, claim it on the mailing list.
  • Try to get your stuff in your Member Storage spots in a box of some sort.
  • Log into intweb, https://intweb.at.hive13.org/ and update your member info - particularly your e-mail address(es).

Old Business

  • Lorin is out for a month recovering from surgery. See Ry for secretarial/bureaucratic inquiries.
  • Kevin is having another surgery.

Upcoming events

  • Saturday Clean-up followed by potluck and Game Night coming up Jan 6th; Greg and Brad will post more information soon.
  • Brad is going to have a mill and lathe class; he'll post on the blog and mailing list soon.

New Business

  • Ian is working on a report to correlate members to PayPal accounts and then can see who is still a member.

    • Vote 3 is only if vote 2 fails and is $850 for 1 Original Prusa Mk3 printer kit.

Frisbee Round

  • Greg - Worked on new Christmas controllers due to fried relays, a lot of work on intweb, Hive networking improvements
  • Ian - Mostly been working on the membership report, network improvements
  • Brad - Troubleshooting icicle lights, had gaming laptop driving Oculus Rift
  • Tim W - Tomorrow is last class for CNC cert from Cinci State, trying to be more active on 3D printing
  • Will B - Replaced furnace, A/C, litter of rabbits, created a video of them
  • Ryan - Went over Gigabot and Shapeoko with Dave, ordered a welder
  • Brent - Used 3D printer at the library, found a website to bid on 3D prints
  • Brian - Pending member, modelling things for 3D printing and lasering, wants to get certification
  • James - Hasn't done much, wants to work on delta printer, has holidays he has to burn
  • Dave V - Cleaning out garage and basement, cleaning up rental home stuff, there was gunfire near the Hive, new cameras would've helped
  • Kerensa - dye hatting for Christmas ornaments, new job, making an ugly sweater
  • Nancy - dishwasher certification class made bread, hummus is disgusting
  • Jim - small projects, resolved major expense with Franklin
  • Franklin - looking at PC builds, watercooling
  • Mark - working on project with a Pi Zero W to stream audio and interface with an Arduino to drive NeoPixels, coming here to work remotely
  • Russ - Christmas stuff, wrapping up work projects before holidays, gathering electronic stuff to tinker with
