Announcements

COVID-19

• In Person Events are Cancelled until this rising wave of COVID passes.
• Members may enter and use the space 24/7
• If you Feel Sick - Stay Home.
• Wear a mask (Required for entry to Hive13)
• We now have KN95 masks at the sign in desk. One per person per day, please.
• Get vaccinated if you can
• While you are at it, get a Flu shot
• Respect Science.
• Respect Nature.
• Respect Each Other

Building Updates

• PLEASE respect the building alarm
• We have 24 hour access to our space and the front stairwell ONLY, all other areas will trigger the alarm.
• The alarm is active from 10pm to 6am
• Do not go into any other part of the building during these times (ie; dumping the trash), as it will set off the alarm.

Paint Booth Status

• NO spraying VOCs indoors until we have ventilation

COVID

• Would like to get member feedback on safety of space. how they feel about resuming in person meetings, etc
  • Not set in stone, possibly Feb. 8th 2022
  • Starting with the meeting and just the meeting to begin.
    • We have momentum!
    • More people need to be trained on the sound system/meeting system.
      • Thank you, John C. for setting it up and maintaining it.
    • Safe number of daily cases as guide for when to restart?

Hive Fives

• Dave V continues to rock progress on the paint booth. So much of making involves stinky adhesive, or finishing projects involves paint and it's so essential to our space, so having him continue to work on getting that going is super appreciated. Thank you!!
• John C. has put his heart and cleaning into the paint booth as well! He's been doing his best and showing up for this project.His dedication and passion to making the Hive a better (less fume-y) place is appreciated.
• Dax is knocking it out the park with tours and signing up new members. They've tamed the hoards of new members, charmed them, and got them signed up in one fell swoop. Their work has not gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.
