• COVID-19
  • In Person Events are Cancelled until this rising wave of COVID passes.
    • Members may enter and use the space 24/7
  • If you Feel Sick - Stay Home.
  • Wear a mask (Required for entry to Hive13)
    • We now have KN95 masks at the sign in desk. One per person per day, please.
    • Get vaccinated if you can
    • (While you are at it, get a Flu shot!

• Building Updates
  • PLEASE respect the building alarm
  • We have 24 hour access to our space and the front stairwell ONLY, all other areas will trigger the alarm.
  • The alarm is active from 10pm to 6am
  • Do not go into any other part of the building during these times (ie; dumping the trash), as it will set off the alarm.

• Paint Booth Status
  • NO spraying VOCs indoors until we have ventilation

    • Options are:
      • another big 4 x 8 table
        • pros: cheap and quick, already have proven design
        • cons: not as useful as a backtable when working at machines, no tool storage, would not help if two people were in shop at same time using different machines
        • would be around $200 total cost, have most materials on hand
      • mobile workbenches for tool storage and back tables at machines
        • Cabinets $400 each, and would want one each for lathe, mills, roland, and metrology/layout tools, 4 total
        • Pros: much better as back tables at machines, massive amounts of tool storage, can be moved around to suit work being done
        • cons: quite expensive, won't have a single large continuous work surface
        • would be around $1600 total vote
