  • Discussion: Better ventilation for welding room
    • Will--could we get a whole house fan?
    • some discussion followed about what we would need, what size, etc.
      • Jim--for TIG, we don't want TOO much air flow.
    • Dave--why not just ask a welding shop for advice
    • Dave--if someone is getting a TIG welder here, lets' just go with that for aluminum.
    • Elizabeth has donated an argon bottole

    • Do not want to get into implementation details. tonight, but...general thoughts/complaints?
      • In a week or two, get a group together and flesh it out.
    • Various discussion follows.
    • Dave--don't want to fall into the idea that they do the cleaning for everyone else.
      • big part of job would be calling people out if they make a mess, rather than just cleaning it.
    • Nancy--if someone leaves their stuff lying around...whose responsibility?
  • Tiffany--we should have training for the 3D printers!
    • Jim S--could probably put something together for gigabot
    • Jon--this is the sort of thing that becomes responsibility of area manager.
  • John--crazy idea--buy out entire anchor building with kickstarter funding?
    • If we are going to buy a building, not this one probably...
    • a few people express liking kickstarter idea, when/if we do need to expand.
    • Garden Street has bought all these buildings on the strip, unlikely to want to sell.
    • Some discussion followed about expanding space..
    • Twist--we are not at the point of needing to expand yet. We should define what that point looks like.
  • Jim D--laser cutter donation
    • Can someone with a pickup trick help Jim move it from Delhi in about 2 weeks?
