Laser - Clyde
- Started w/ crafts &
- Design in Corel Draw.
- Uses a program "Photograve" to rasterize
- Cutting leaves a residue, so he does as much of his own cutting out first, then etches w/ the laser.
- Speed & Power, not depth.
- Has a 25W and 60W, difference is speed.
- Width of hte cut (kirf), small, tiny, very small.
- 1200 DPI, 600 DPI, 300 DPI, 150 DPI resolution.
- He uses 600 DPI
Friday Night Blows
- Now the Saturday Night Blows
- March 27, space w/ tables, come in set up tables, small demo, short talk, what we are about, what we are doing.
- 6:30 to 9:30, can run over, last part is make the glass component.
- Gallileo's finger, it really is his finger. Mueseum of Science in Italy,
- We make the podium
- 12th street, art academy
- What is the audience? It is a mix, students to general people from the community.
- River City Works - Public Access Studio, '97 Art Academy took over
- Hive13 gets the finished project.
- Hive13 would make hte pedestal for the finger
- 60 to 70 people, have had upwards of 200
- Parking? Parking lot there, Family Dollar
