Project Goals
The goal of this project is to have a usable large format CNC machine in the Hive, along with documenting the steps needed to get the CNC machine functional -- we're starting out with parts -- so that other spaces and folks can use what we've learned to build a similar machine.
Project State
The project has the following items of equipment:
- Motors
- Y-Axis Frame
- Plasma Cutter
- Stand
- X-Axis Gantry
- X-Axis Leadscrew
The project still needs the following pieces of equipment
- Stepper Controller and Driver (TBP: Ian)
- Z-Axis and Control
