So we've looked at a few pages so far, and those that have seen them wanted to make a quick write-up on the pros and cons of each site.

First Site

3900 block of Sping Grove in Northside, 1st floor, right by the Viaduct

Pros: Low cost, central location, owner seemed amicable to slight changes to space, large outside area.

Cons: Dude didn't own the building yet, so we couldn't really see the inside, he wanted to do some further improvements before we occupied, so it may be a while. Also he didn't know what rent would be...

Meh: Parking seemed decent, but in a weird part of town. No pics, as we didn't get to go inside.

Second Site

2900 block of Spring Grove, 2nd floor, much farther into the west end industrial area

Pros: Rent includes all main utilities except electric and data ($~750/mnth), central location, very ecclectic mix of neighbors (such as photographer, printing press, glass-blowers, etc), freight elevator, lots of parking.

Cons: Pretty small location, carpeted floor, there are some residential apartments pretty close (like, down the hall). Window air conditioning, no access to the breaker panel. Landlord seemed OK with discussing modifications to space (like removing carpet) but would hinge on longer term leasing agreements.

Meh: Big pool table is included, but takes up most of the space. JasonB says this would have to be moved. Landlord was hoping to include it with space.

Third Site

19 W Court, downtown, 1st floor, right by the Kroger building

Pros: Big! Lots of freedom to take down unneeded walls and move plumbing around to suit our needs. Big windows in front, glassblock in back.

Cons: Downtown (no parking/metered parking, not exactly "central", etc), pretty expensive (~$1200/mnth), and a residential apartment directly above the location.

Meh: It's in JasonB's building, so at least he would always have a good parking spot. :P Will take pics and post tonight!
